Rue Camille Claudel, Clichy-la-Garenne, ZAC du Bac d’Asnières

With the river and the new impressionists park nearby, this is a prime location. Coiling in a bend of the Seine between Nanterre, Saint-Ouen, Gennevilliers and Neuilly-sur-Seine, the Bac d’Asnières joint development zone is at the heart of Grand Paris. This positioning has inspired us to develop a specific project with a strong identity grounded in a metropolitan vision, i.e. a fleet of buildings with particular morphologies and multiple views of the Seine. The project is organised around seven buildings on two separate plots joined by a public road. Each building will have its own identity, while remaining closely linked to the neighbouring buildings. All offer collective spaces opening onto the new road and views onto the Seine. Diversity is the command word for the project. The ensemble contributes to a sense of unity thanks to the patterns of the perforated, glossy panelling. The patterns vary, but the whole generates a unified atmosphere that makes the entire project cohesive. The constructions facing on to the Seine receive particular attention. With three buildings being the masthead for the neighbourhood it will become a strong signal to the city. All flats have an outside extension. 100% continuous balconies, winter gardens, full-height ironwork, and security-bar railings: all outside space is singularly treated.
