Colombes, ZAC Charles de Gaulle Est, block 5

Situated at the intersection of the Boulevard Charles de Gaulle, Rue Estienne d’Orves and Rue Colbert, the project arises in a heterogeneous urban landscape. We therefore quickly chose to work with building typologies that could interlace with the surrounding landscape. The project sits delicately in the site, in a sort of ‘landscape building’ form.

The singular qualities of the site provided an opportunity to rethink the relationship between the landscape and ways of living. The exchange between the project and the landscape is a preoccupation that structures the buildings.

The idea of the project is to create a strong identity where each building will offer different ways of living whilst being directly linked to the neighbouring structures.
